Promotion of the arts is very important to us as we believe that access to a broad and enriched curriculum enables children to discover their potential. A creative curriculum provides valuable opportunities for children to develop teamwork and leadership skills in addition to building self-esteem, resilience and self-confidence. We want children to have opportunities to challenge themselves, to question and reflect, to communicate their ideas and look beyond the school and local community. We aim to create an exciting and stimulating learning environment which enhances children’s learning. Our aim is to excite and inspire children to explore and discover their strengths and passions as well as to have fun! We recognise that the opportunities we provide should be inclusive and we aim to ensure there is provision across all areas of the arts, both as discreet subjects and across the wider curriculum. In addition, we constantly seek opportunities to provide extra-curricular provision across the arts wherever we can.
